Pillow Talk

I finally bought burlap.  I know, can you believe it?  Over 50 years old and I've never bought any but 100's of bloggers rave about burlap.  Good old scratchy fabric.  I've seen pillows made in it, dust ruffles, pocketbooks, apparel, ribbons, curtains, and even slipcovers-I get itchy thinking about that one!  But, I decided I would try it out and make a pillow. Well this is what I got.......Olive Rue, a cutie patootie etsy store has adorable transfers and I wanted bees!  She sent them pronto and I got transfer paper for the printer and downloaded the transfers-Can't believe what a breeze that was.  Ironed them onto the burlap and I did take my time.  Usually I'm speedy gonzales because I want it done yesterday!  My husband always says I have 24 hour-itis because I can't stand it if something takes longer-I'm a pain, I know.  Then, all I had to do was assemble them.  I used scraps of fabric I had that matched my toile chairs. And voila'..Love them-especially the Queen Bee!  Take care, Gotta fly! Claire
(p.s. 2 things that really made my day***I was featured on Becky of Infarrantly Creative's "You Inspire" me blog and the new Ballard Designs catalog came in the mail!!)***
