Hydrangeas

"In the garden, Autumn is, indeed the crowning glory of the year, bringing us the fruition of months of thought and care and toil.

And at no season, safe perhaps in Daffodil time, do we get such superb colour effects as from August to November."

- Rose G. Kingsley, The Autumn Garden, 1905

  1. What a beautiful sentiment! I wish the fall were longer and more temperate so we could really enjoy the fruits of our labor---

  3. I love fall, but it's not nearly as prolific in color out here in West Texas, unless of course you are into the golds.. always fun to see hydrangeas.

  8. What gorgeous hydrangeas! I love them but can't grow them here as perennials. We buy them as annuals. These are so pretty.
