Nuts for Knotty Pine.. not!

My kitchen hutch was bugging me.  It needed a new look but it took me awhile to change it.  White or black, black or white?  It was a hard decision but I finally decided on a totally different look...I picked a Behr custom color. Home Depot is great about matching colors for you- I brought a chandelier lampshade in the color I wanted and they matched it perfectly!     Knotty pine is not the easiest wood to cover, if you've tried.  The knots bleed through so you need to really wait between coats.  I started with 2 coats of kilz and then painted the hutch with 2 coats of satin enamel, added new hardware and tada.  I won't be doing this again for awhile!  But, I love the result -what do you think?  Take care, gotta fly! 2. Wow! Claire,
    I love a Chinese Red.
Looks like my Kitchen. I even put some tiny touch of red in most of my paintings. It makes it so easy to just go to followers and send an E-mail. Thanks
