Thanksgiving decor

With the holidays fast approaching

I scrambled to add some festive decor before the

Christmas boxes take over!

As I was sifting through my stuff, 

I decided to change a few things this year.

My fall tureen and two Tom turkeys needed a new look- 

Nothing a can of spray paint can't fix!

My velvet pumpkins are too cute to not display with the rest.

The white pieces are now nicely settled in to the dining room

Which is slowly becoming a sea of white!

That's the extent of my turkey decor and

I do love it all white-

I'll have to keep my eye out for more turkey's

 I can spray paint

the gobbler out of!!

Thankfulness

 Thanksgiving is a wonderful time of year-

family time,

traditions-

extended family get togethers

yummy food

laughter

football

crisp air

crisp turkey

but

the most important thing is

truly

being thankful...

I am so very thankful everyday..

and it's really all about family

Although we have lost

some of our most special family members

over the years-

the wonderful memories stay with us forever-

and

although sadness of missing them is always there-

we know that our family remains a special place to be-

always and forever!
