These past 31 days of writing have been an amazing journey for me-

I am not a sharer-

I am not a comfortable promoter-

I am not a person that easily writes about my emotions-

But, chasing my dream has been a comfortable place for me and

I hope you have enjoyed reading this personal, month long "diary"

of my chase-

I have loved reading many of your thoughtful, eloquent posts and I am grateful

I took this step with all of you-

Happiness-

In the dictionary, happiness is a mental or emotional state of well

being characterized by positive or pleasant emotions 

ranging from contentment to intense joy.

nice, huh?

Everyone experiences happiness in their own way,

people want different things and sadly, they think

"things" will make them happier-

But, as we age, we learn it is not the "things" that bring true happiness-

You and you alone are the key to your happiness-

Travel your journey through this life

with happiness in your heart-

The truth of your happiness lies within you-

Be happy you are alive and let your inner

happiness shine through to those around you-

it may just rub off on them.

Thrilled

I was thrilled when I heard my first Ka-ching from my Etsy shop-

I was thrilled when I sold many of my creations at fairs.

Thrilled when I get compliments on my love nest pendants-

All of these things are thrilling-

when your dream is working, it is thrilling-

Thrills are something we all seek-
some people are total thrill seekers-
I'm kind of a wimp with any scary thrills-
roller coasters, fast cars, but chasing your dreams can
also be scary thrills-
putting yourself out there for people to see the real you-
self promoting is not my thing-I cringe at it but
with any business, promoting is the key to success-
so, I am taking baby steps to promote my dream-

I particularly like the synonym alive-

Working, to me, always meant going out of the house to a job-
but
now, working means much more.
I wake up and my mind is working, not the crazy thoughts about what will happen at the office but
what can I work on today?
What will be my goals for the day?
My goals-
no one elses.

It's not always easy, but it makes me feel alive!

It's harder work for me than it was when I left the house for a job-
I make the rules, the schedule, the work
but
it's so much more than that-
it's living my dream and if I fail today, it's all on me-
but, when it's good, it's very, very good,

so many feelings race through your mind on a daily basis,

it's sometimes hard to keep focused on the task at hand!

Being emotional is part of life-

We don't always succeed in our journey of living the dreams we choose-

We will fail at times, some may say it was a big flop-

Flops hurt

You feel bad, depressed, like a failure-

you may even start back pedaling, maybe this isn't the right road on the journey-

It's especially hard to not reach the finish line-

but you have to remember, 

you ran the race, 

you participated 

and did your best-

That's was matters most-

we can't always be the winner but if we make the attempt.

give it our all,

it's not a flop-

a mere blip on the road to your dream-
