Stumbling

Chasing a dream is not always easy

There are a lot of ups and downs along the way-

hopefully, more ups but

the downs are pretty hard to deal with-

Whether you realize it or not, this dream is a 24 hour pursuit

There is not a lot of down time, my mind is always racing and each day I wake up, 

happily, knowing I'm chasing that dream.

I don't know what the day will hold for me but

I do know that I will manage to get through it knowing that I worked hard, did my best, and

that's really all you can ask of yourself.  

It's not a cakewalk-

rejections, dejection, solitude-

it can all feel like your stumbling out of control-

rethinking your plan, over and over.

Not enough hours in the day-

but each day also brings with it a peaceful solitude, enjoying my time creating, 

planning for the next step and the realization that I am very lucky to have this opportunity.
