Furniture project complete- check

School vacation and good weather =

Furniture painting completed!!!

Moving day for my gal is fast approaching
and the furniture is ready to go-
LOVE the color she(we or me!!) chose

The dresser and nightstand are painted and waxed
The girly knobs are in place

Remember, it looked like this-

Her thrift store purchase- $30!

The nightstand was an orphan out on the curb-
 prime for adoption!

And this was the sneak peak at the color

Well, now this is it all dressed up and ready to go!

I even added some darling shoes to the nightstand!!

A little dipping never hurt anyone!

So pretty and ready for their debut!

The inside of the nightstand drawer had an added surprise-

A message from the furniture maker, Mr. Hitchcock himself!
"Choice of a Wife" - sweet and special!

My daughter loves it, and that's all that matters

The furniture is ready but not sure if mama is ready for her to fly the coop!

Take care, gotta fly!

Spring Has Sprung- Let the painting begin...

These roadside finds are finally ready to be
worked on- yippee!!

The weather has warmed up and I
am happily at work on the table and chairs for my
middle daughter's 1st apartment!

We're still waiting for the seat cushion fabric to arrive
but the table top is sanded

 and the
chairs have been spruced up so she will be all set
to move them in the first week of May!!

(old fabric)

Her thrift store dresser

sanded

waiting to be all dressed up in her turquoise gem paint!

Can't wait for the reveal-
so stay tuned!

Spring is finally here and I'm a happy"painting" camper!!

Take care, gotta fly-

Is it Spring yet?

Is it spring yet?
Up here in the Northeast, we are anxiously awaiting those warm and sunny days!

The time to pull out the patio sets, spruce up the landscape and just
Soak in nature at its best-

The chill is still in the air so
Spray painting outside is still not happening
Boo hoo
I can't wait much longer

My middle daughter is moving out soon and we have big plans for those
Roadside finds for her new place
But
We need the warmth to get these projects going

Can't wait to show you her "new" dining set and
Refurbished book cases-
There's a cute dresser that needs some tlc too!

So, maybe today?
Mother Nature, are you listening to me?

Time is a ticking and projects are waiting,
Anxiously for a new coat!

Everything is ready to go, except the weather!!

So, maybe by next week,
It will be project central here in Connecticut!

Looks like we may get good 'ole spray painting weather this weekend
and my fingers are itching for a smooth can of paint!!

I'll let you know how it goes!

Take care, gotta fly-
