Christmas Mantel - at last!

My Christmas mantel was
a bit late in getting together-
by late, I mean not much has been done yet-

This is what I began with-
A beauty from Goodwill
and a coat of spray paint will do wonders!

I chose a holiday phrase and got busy on my cricut machine-
After spacing it out,

I painted over the stencil letters with some gray paint and then added my ascp
in blue for a richer tone

I cut letters again with scrapbook music note paper-
Glued the letters down and then I edged them with silver glitter glue
to make sure those babies didn't move-

Once it was all dry
I added wire to the back and it was set to be the focal point on my mantel-

After I added my mercury glass pieces and
some fresh greens and pre-lit candles
I added these little babies-

Another score at goodwill
A strand of triple candle lights -
They were still in their original wrap and a whopping $1.99!

They attach to the greens with clips-

It's the perfect touch to add more sparkle to the mantel !!

Love the lights especially at night!

So festive, let the holidays begin!

Well, take care, gotta fly-
