Tissue Paper Topiaries

The ice cream social was coming up at school

 and the tables needed some decorations-

so........

It all began with a few simple supplies...

tissue paper, wire, wooden skewers and green florist tape-

 Cut the tissue into circle and ovals-

Using about 5 or 6 sheets, accordion pleat it-

wire the middle then wire a skewer to it-

 Next, sheets of scrapbook paper  cut into squares-

fold in thirds and slice along folds on either end-

fold up and in like wrapping a present-

tape the sides and a paper box is formed..

a chunk of foam is inserted and then the skewered flower......

Simple, easy and colorful-
the perfect added touch to the tables!!
