Wow, this party came around pretty quickly-
well, I know it's the new year
but I'm just not that prepared
*I just told you how organized
I am going to be this year but let's face it,
that was only yesterday-
and I have to remember her motto-
"it doesn't have to be perfect to be beautiful"
My house needs help, so I really will organize it-
at least the basement, the garage and the kitchen
(I will then accept my Emmy, climb Mt Everest and make a pie from scratch)
sorry, where was I?
*I need to paint a couple rooms
oh, couple only means 2 so
a few rooms-we'll leave it at that...
*My screen porch needs to be re-screened-
not just screens-maybe 1/2 walls with screens-
these 2 puppies are tearing it to shreds-
not out of naughtiness
but out of pure and adorable excitement-
(but after re screening twice last summer-
the adorableness is wearing thin!)
(PS.. this is not mine,
unfortunately!)
*bathrooms, bathrooms bathrooms....
that's all I have to say on that-
*master bedroom drapes and stencilled wall-
*craft room creation-
*add gardens in front yard
(hydrangeas,hydrangeas,hydrangeas)
*gw jaunts

In that order and fingers crossed-
the top 3 will be
accomplished!!
My real list continues in my little head
but I'll keep that between me and crazy!!
Hope your list keeps you happy and hopping too!
Take care, gotta fly-Claire
I'm going to this party, are you?
Thanks for stopping by!!! I love your goals...good luck to you.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog today. Good luck with your goals; it's funny how some sort of painting project is on almost everyones list of goals.
ReplyDeleteSamara
I love hydrangeas,hydrangeas,hydrangeas!!!
ReplyDeleteEven the fake hydrangeas make me smile.
I look forward to seeing you complete your to-do list. Love it when you say gotta fly!
I wish you luck with your projects!! I can't wait to see the before and afters...or just the afters...or whatever you choose to share!! I love crown molding--I would totally put that on my list, but who am I kidding? My husband has still not finished the trim in the basement after we finished it three+ years ago!
ReplyDeleteOrganizing is a big goal for me, too. And, I live hydrangea, too. I put some in my front yard this fall and can't wait for the blooms.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see your projects come to fruition, especially the redo of your screened in poarch.
You have a long list. I love hydrandgeas also. I have them in my front yard and I love them. Good luck with all your projects and thanks so much for stopping by my blog. I do appreciate it.
ReplyDeleteI know you can do it and I can't wait to see the results!
ReplyDeleteI think its fab to put tons of hydrangeas all over your yard, that's my style too. :)
ReplyDeleteMy 2012 prediction: Your sense of humor will see you through. We're all cheering for you, Claire.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog. I'm following you now.
Love your goals! haha! And I know ALL too well about the "adorable" pup problems. :) Good luck with all of them!
ReplyDeleteSounds like me have some similar goals. Here's to getting organized in 2012! What kind of pups to you have? We have a 3 month old goldendoodle as well as a 2 year old golden. I can definitely relate to puppy issues!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the visit. I am looking forward to having company with all the goal setting...so, I'm following you!
ReplyDeleteLovin' your goals, Claire! I look forward to following your progress. Thanks for stopping by my spot...and guess what? Now I'm YOUR newest follower!
ReplyDeleteOH! crown molding! ugh! wanted to add that to mine, too. it is ONLy done in the living room. why not in every room? cheapity-cheap-cheap builders... good luck with your home goals!
ReplyDeletethanks for stopping by!!
Claire, you have an ambitious list! Hope all goes well. I'm a new follower too. :)
ReplyDeleteHi! Thanks for visiting The Gathering Place!! Love your home goal list.. hope everything goes well and you're able to get everything done that you'd really like to! Can't wait to see how it all goes.. :)
ReplyDeleteYou do have a long list--but sounds good! Love hydrangeas, too. We don't have a back porch--just a screen door at the back--and our Beagle has demolished that, so I hear ya! Plexi-glass over where the screen used to be is a nice, light see through idea--but maybe the puppies will scratchit too much? Good luck with everything!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your list! I hope you accomplish your top three as you hope to.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you will be busy this year with home projects! Looking forward to reading more about them as they are completed! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog. Can't wait to see your how your project list progresses.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to see how your list gets completed :-)
