2011 trends

2011 has seen many decorating trends-

patterns in rugs design all the way to the wallpaper-

    I have several of those things that fall into several categories. I do really appreciate what chalk paint can do, i just don't like the price tag so much. And i love the different kinds of patinas!

    I definitely jumped on the chevron bandwagon! But I just love the pattern... even if it has been overused. I'm sure I'll fall in love with something new this year though. :)

    We have been slow at adding many trendy items into our home. I am definitely gravitating to more mixed metals now than in the past though.
